Back in the game
So, we've been away for quite some time on IdeasUnltd but client work will always prevail. Anyway the blog will continue where it left off and try to bring new ideas from around the web. Also, DMG has begun tweeting, find us at www.twitter.com/dialmediagroup and follow.
The first thing to talk about is the latest Google maps / Twitter mashup from Kleenex. This could bring all sorts of things to mind but it's actually pretty tame. A good idea tho. Kleenex is encouraging people to follow them on Twitter so that whenever they sneeze they tweet with a tag (#atishoo) and their postcode. Kleenex back room boys then plot the sneeze on a Google map. This builds up a map of sneeze hotspots.
Whether this is a clever idea or an exercise in stating the bleeding obvious (thanks Siralan), it's a good use of linking two popular applications to add value to a brand's online offering.
